Four Frontiers of Peptide Innovation

At this year's exhibition, Winkey highlighted four major directions driving its peptide technology development:

Cyclic Peptides | PDC Peptides | CADD & AIDD-Driven Innovative Peptides | PFAS-Free Green Peptides

  1. Cyclic Peptides

Winkey showcased its Super Cyclic Peptide Library, which currently contains dozens of cyclic peptide candidates covering a broad range of skincare applications.

By exploring different cyclic structures, Winkey aims to develop peptide solutions with enhanced stability and innovative functional potential for next-generation cosmetic formulations.

  1. PDC Peptides

Winkey has applied Peptide-Drug Conjugate (PDC) technology to cosmetic ingredient development, creating innovative peptide-based ingredients such as Caffeoyl Peptide and Nicotinoyl Peptide.

This technology combines peptide structures with functional active molecules to explore new possibilities for established cosmetic ingredients.

  1. CADD & AIDD-Driven Innovative Peptides

Through the integration of Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and Artificial Intelligence-Driven Drug Design (AIDD) with network pharmacology, Winkey has developed an advanced platform for high-throughput screening and precision peptide design.

One example is Erasin0003, an innovative peptide designed to deliver both immediate and long-lasting skin-firming benefits.

  1. PFAS-Free Green Peptides

In response to evolving global regulatory and sustainability requirements, Winkey also showcased dozens of peptide ingredients developed with PFAS-free manufacturing processes.

These solutions are designed to support cosmetic brands seeking more sustainable and globally adaptable ingredient options.

Together, these four innovation directions demonstrate Winkey's continued exploration of the next generation of peptide technology.

The “Originated in China” ingredient series featured innovative botanical and biotechnology-derived ingredients, including plant callus culture ingredients and plant-derived PDRN.

The company also showcased ingredients developed through synthetic biology, including green carnosine, decarboxycarnosine, and NMN.

Within the foundational ingredient portfolio, Winkey presented a range of sustainable and distinctive raw materials, including:

  • Camellia saponins

  • Sophorolipids

  • Camellia oil

  • Tiger nut oil

This diversified ingredient portfolio provides global beauty brands with more options for formula innovation, product differentiation, and the development of next-generation skincare products.

Industry Insights and Innovation Showcase

Winkey's R&D Capabilities Receive Global Attention.

During the exhibition, Dr. Zijian Liu, R&D Director of Winkey Technology, was invited to deliver a technical presentation titled:

“Peptide Innovation and R&D Based on CADD and AIDD Technologies.”

The presentation explored how Winkey integrates AIDD (Artificial Intelligence-Driven Drug Design) and CADD (Computer-Aided Drug Design) to accelerate the discovery and optimization of innovative cosmetic ingredients.

Through this integrated approach, Winkey can efficiently pursue both:

  • First-in-Class innovation — designing entirely new ingredient structures from the ground up

  • Me-Better innovation — optimizing and upgrading existing ingredient structures

This approach helps move ingredient development beyond traditional R&D methods that rely heavily on experience and small-scale trial and error.

By combining computational design, artificial intelligence, and experimental validation, Winkey aims to shorten development cycles, improve R&D efficiency, and increase the success rate of innovative ingredient development.

The presentation attracted strong interest from industry professionals attending the exhibition.
