WKPep®Erasin is the 3rd new ingredient in IECIC list and its trade name and INCI name were assigned in PCPC. Base on the idea of drug development, the structure of Erasin was designed by CADD and Molecular Docking Algorithm, aiming to develop active substance that acts on the expression muscle m-nAChR. It not only inhibits the muscle contraction, instantly reduces the expression wrinkle, but also promotes the production of collagen/elastin, activates the vitality of skin cells and makes the skin firmness.

Evaluation of efficacy

In vitro test

25μM Erasin has effect of anti-muscle contraction approx.14.37%.

WKPep Erasin significantly boost the synthesis of collagen I after UV radiation, more efficient than VA and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 at the same concentration.

Increase HaCaT & NIH3T3 cellular viability, and promote collagen III, IV synthesis, more efficient than Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 at the same concentration.
